Boca Islands / Compare

Compared

Boca Islands, Palm Beach, and northeast Boca.

Three places a relocating executive is likely to be shown, and how they differ on the things that shape daily life. The comparison is candid; where another submarket wins, we say so.

The short version

Where Boca Islands wins, and where it does not.

Boca Islands wins on the combination of new construction, protected water, a walkable neighborhood, and price. No other submarket in Palm Beach County offers all four together, and the first two are what the relocating executive most often asks for.

Palm Beach wins on prestige and on proximity to the West Palm Beach office corridor, at a price three or more times higher for comparable new construction.

The northeast Boca waterfront wins on one thing: unrestricted ocean access for a large boat. A buyer whose first priority is a sport-fisherman or a motor yacht should look there, and we will say so at the first showing.
