Questions

Questions and answers.

The questions buyers and their brokers ask most often about Boca Islands and the two new residences. If yours is not here, Devin Kay will answer it directly.

Where exactly is Boca Islands?

Boca Islands is a neighborhood of canal-front homes in the southeast quadrant of Boca Raton, Florida, between Cypress Way and the Intracoastal Waterway and just west of Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club. The ZIP code is 33432.

Is there a homeowners' association?

No. Boca Islands has no homeowners' association, no association dues, no architectural review board and no gate. Owners deal directly with the City of Boca Raton on permits and improvements.

Can I walk to shops and restaurants?

Yes. The Fresh Market and Walgreens are a five-minute walk from the residences; Publix and the restaurants and cafés along Camino Real and Federal Highway are less than ten minutes. This is the principal difference between Boca Islands and the waterfront neighborhoods of northeast Boca Raton, which require a car for daily errands.

How far are the beach and The Boca Raton?

The Boca Raton resort is about a ten-minute bicycle ride; its Beach Club and the public beach at South Beach Park are about fifteen minutes by bicycle. Mizner Park and downtown are also about fifteen minutes by bicycle.

Is there a park in the neighborhood?

Yes. Boca Isles Park, a 1.1-acre pocket park owned and maintained by the City of Boca Raton, sits across the street from 252 SW 14th Place. It has a playground and a separate toddler playground, picnic tables, a grill and walking paths, and is open from 8 a.m. to sunset.

Can I keep a boat?

Yes. The canals are protected and deep, and each of the new residences has a private dock with a motorized lift. The canals reach the Intracoastal Waterway beneath fixed bridges, so they suit center-consoles, sport boats and cruisers with modest air draft. Buyers with a large sport-fisherman or motor yacht requiring unrestricted ocean access should consider other submarkets, and should confirm bridge clearance and draft for any specific vessel.

How long is the commute to West Palm Beach?

About thirty-five minutes to downtown West Palm Beach by I-95 in typical traffic. The Brightline station in downtown Boca Raton is about ten minutes away, with a roughly twenty-five-minute ride to West Palm Beach station.

Which airports serve the neighborhood?

Boca Raton Airport, for private aviation, is about fifteen minutes by car. Palm Beach International and Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International are each about thirty minutes.

What schools serve Boca Islands?

The neighborhood is served by the Boca Raton public schools of the School District of Palm Beach County; assignments should be confirmed with the district for a specific address. Independent schools within a short drive include Saint Andrew's School and Pine Crest School's Boca Raton campus.

Who designed and built the new residences?

Both residences were designed by Colestock & Muir Architects and finished by the same builder to the same specification: custom oak millwork, natural stone, impact glass, an elevator, a covered loggia with summer kitchen, and a private dock on protected water.

What is the price of 252 SW 14th Place?

252 SW 14th Place is offered at $6,000,000 through Douglas Elliman. It has six bedrooms, five and a half baths, 6,104 total square feet, seventy-three feet of protected waterfront, an elevator and a three-car garage. 1175 SW 4th Avenue, slightly larger, will be completed in late fall 2026; pricing is available on request.
